چکیده

Glass material is largely used in buildings and facilities due to various motivations. Besides, glass still represents a vulnerable component for building occupants. Careful attention required especially elements that may be subjected extreme design loads, such as impact, vibrations, etc. Among approaches techniques prevent danger people case of breakage, multilayer antishatter safety films (ASFs) are commercially available the retrofit existing monolithic members. In present research study, multistep experimental program presented obtain characterization key input mechanical parameters numerical analysis protected by ASFs. Relevant characteristics derived definition an equivalent tape able reproduce ASF outcomes. On side experiments, artificially aged specimens (healing process) investigated. A major advantage taken from small-scale peel tensile tests on samples, well Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) nondestructive vibration measurements preliminary fractured ASF-bonded elements. Efficient Finite Element (FE) models calibrated with support data Cohesive Zone Modelling (CZM) discussion comparative results, giving evidence rather good estimates possible extension procedure.

Multilayer Nano Films for Corrosion Control

Nano films consisting of an alternating sequence of positively and negatively charged polyelectrolytes have been prepared by means of the electrostatic layer-by-layer (LBL) sequential assembly technique on treated and untreated mild steel wires. Inhibitor was encapsulated between cationic and anionic polyelectrolyte nano films. This paper mainly focuses on the effect of these nano-films of poly...

simulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water

abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...

Structural evolution during mechanical deformation in high-barrier PVDF-TFE/PET multilayer films using in situ X-ray techniques.

Poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-tetrafluoroethylene) (PVDF-TFE) is confined between alternating layers of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) utilizing a unique multilayer processing technology, in which PVDF-TFE and PET are melt-processed in a continuous fashion. Postprocessing techniques including biaxial orientation and melt recrystallization were used to tune the crystal orientation of the PVDF-...
